Platypus Playground

We know how important play is and we are not the only ones. Psychologists, teachers and other professionals working with children all recognise that play acts as a socialisation process and enables children to develop their emotional, physical and cognitive skills.

That is not all. Play is so ingrained into the wellbeing of children that Article 21 of the UN Convention states that every child had the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.

Sadly we grow up and forget this, but it doesn’t have to be that way! Platypus Research are keen to play their part in breathing a bit of fun back into the everyday.

This is the area where we keep you updated on exciting news and keep you involved in Platypus fun which goes beyond projects.

Welcome to the Platypus Playground!
